Rated 5 out of 5Â by SanteeFisherman Solid Braid Nylon Anchor Line
Nylon Braid Anchor Line meets and exceeds my expectations.
Tried poly anchor line and it was stiff and hard to manage compared to nylon. Would not recommend it at all. It may be cheaper but unreliable. Braid is superior to twisted.
Poly line (3/16") frayed after one season and could be easily broken by hand. Had to trash all my poly line.
Nylon on my other anchor mate has lasted for five years and as strong and reliable as ever.
Go for nylon - don't risk loosing an expensive anchor using something inferior.
