these snelled hooks are ever bit as good as the higher priced Eagle Claw hooks.the hooks were very sharp and seamed to stay that way longer.

got these for panfish and found out i hit the wrong botton and got the size 2. they work great for bass and catfish though i fish alot and went through one all year! only lost about five fish i believe because hook was starting to wear.

it is not a harden steel . Those hooks are much more costly to produce.

yes either fish can bite thru mono or flourocarbon, use titanium or steel ahead of bait. harder for them to bite thru theseAnswers
