I fish for Pike and Muskie on the Saugeen River in Ontario, using minnows or chub as bait. And I was wondering will they be able to bite through it?

it is not a harden steel . Those hooks are much more costly to produce.

yes either fish can bite thru mono or flourocarbon, use titanium or steel ahead of bait. harder for them to bite thru these
