This is not a great buy unless you are purchasing it for a toddler. This hat is way too overpriced for what you get. Way too small for anyone over the age of 5. I was very dissappinted with what I got.

I was expecting this cap to fit a 13 yr old (youth), but it's to small. My son is not a big boy either! I'm just going to give it to my 3 yr old grandson. The product is good, just need to not use "Youth" for the size of the hat, it's misleading for age.

Bought this for my sons seventh birthday. Still one month until opening day but he already wears it all the time!! Fits great and should be able to get two or three seasons from it if he doesnt grow to fast.

My Son is 6 yrs of age, does not have a large head but he'll outgrow his boonie hat by the end of this years archery season. Order the next sz larger and if it seems too big, add folded newspaper inside the head band or have them wear it over a thin stocking cap if the weather/season permits this.Answers

It doesn't adjust. Whatever size ou order is what you get and nothing more. It also doesn't have a neck/chin strap on it which would help keep it on in windy conditions if adjusted to the back of the head area as with most military boonie hats have (Viet Nam type).
