Strongly built These guide-ons require some yankee ingenuity to get them to fit snugly on the thinner frame of my Bass Tracker's trailer. Once on and tight, they make driving the Pro 165 onto the runners easy, even in a pesky cross breeze. May 30, 2013
Works great These were easy to install and worked great for my set up grizzly 1448.... October 20, 2013
Great for Guide when loading Boat Bought these for my Pro Tracker trailer to help guide my boat when loading during rough and or windy conditions. They work great and I am very satisfied with these guides. My trailer came with 2 guides on the very rear so I placed these about half way forward. Easy to put together and install on trailer rails. The only issue I have and hence the 4 stars, is the length of the bolts that hold the guide to the rail. I understand the bolts are designed for 3" and 4" rails however, mine is 3" and I was totally worn out by the time I got all 4 nuts tight on each rail. I used a Ratchet with a deep socket on the first guide but finally got my Air Ratchet out and finished the 2nd guide pretty easy. Overall would recommend and also got 20% off and free shipping. Great price. September 12, 2012
Decent for the price I've been using these for about a week now and they work pretty well. My boat is a 16' jon boat and they make a world of difference when trailering on a ramp with a current. The biggest issue I had with them is that it was missing a screw/bolt. It was an easy fix ($1.50 at the hardware store). But when I spend $85 on something it would be nice if all the parts were there. The construction seems to be pretty good, time will tell. If these ware I out I will get another set. May 27, 2014

Anyone have a link to.. or copy of the instructions? I think my wife ( probably, really ME):)threw them away! I could use a quick look at them to make sure I know the best options for mounting.

Thanks in Advance,

A:
As long as you have a Box or C-channel frame up to 3" inches wide and 4 1/2" inches tall, you can use it. It adjusts from the trailer frame 13" inches out also. There is alot of ways to mount these guides.

I would use the long one if I were you. I used this on my 16' jon boat trailer and have been trouble with it pushing out. I need to weld another brace to hold it in place. Your answer is more than likely it will.

I used a couple of oak scrap as spacers to make the main u-bolts sit snugly. I placed them so that the horizontal tail runs along the underside of the rear cross member of the trailer. Then I secured that tail to the cross member with a 2"x4" u-bolt from a hardware store. It is solid!
