Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Well Made As stated they appear to be well made but I could not install them on my Nitro trailer because of the diamond plate that is attached to the area of the trailer where the bunks attach. If you are considering any of this type of product check your trailer first to make sure they will fit. I would have enjoyed having them as Michigan does not allow power loading at the state ramps. Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent for the price I've been using these for about a week now and they work pretty well. My boat is a 16' jon boat and they make a world of difference when trailering on a ramp with a current. The biggest issue I had with them is that it was missing a screw/bolt. It was an easy fix ($1.50 at the hardware store). But when I spend $85 on something it would be nice if all the parts were there. The construction seems to be pretty good, time will tell. If these ware I out I will get another set. May 27, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Becareful what you buy After I put these on my trailer, the first time it pushed them way out. I had to re-adjust them again and tightened them so tight it started to crush them. The next time putting the boat on it bumped it and out it went again. Mine is a jon boat and not one of the real heavy boats. Now I need to weld them if possible and add yet another brace so they will not move. Pretty sorry equipment so be careful what you buy. January 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Addition ! These guides went on great, even though there was just about a 1/4 inch room to mount it. The existing brackets on my trailer were taking up most of the room at the trailer frame, but it went on great, with the boat still on the trailer ! Because of all the ways you could mount this, it was no problem at all ! December 31, 2013

Anyone have a link to.. or copy of the instructions? I think my wife ( probably, really ME):)threw them away! I could use a quick look at them to make sure I know the best options for mounting.

Thanks in Advance,

A:
As long as you have a Box or C-channel frame up to 3" inches wide and 4 1/2" inches tall, you can use it. It adjusts from the trailer frame 13" inches out also. There is alot of ways to mount these guides.

I would use the long one if I were you. I used this on my 16' jon boat trailer and have been trouble with it pushing out. I need to weld another brace to hold it in place. Your answer is more than likely it will.

I used a couple of oak scrap as spacers to make the main u-bolts sit snugly. I placed them so that the horizontal tail runs along the underside of the rear cross member of the trailer. Then I secured that tail to the cross member with a 2"x4" u-bolt from a hardware store. It is solid!
