BPS did a good job "cloning" the shad in appearance. It does have a nice weight to it as well. However, the eyes are stick on and usually fall off right out of the package. Cheap in my opinion. I would recommend using a swivel with this plastic as it will twist your line when reeled in fast, no matter which way you rig it.

the only reason I give this a 2 star is because I havent thrown it enough to catch anything. It rigs nicely with a 3.0 offset hook either through the nose then through the belly or through the side which makes it sink slowly on its side. best thing about this bait is that it skips like nothing I've ever thrown, perfect for skiping up under docks. Just waiting for summer to give it a whirle.

It can be rigged like a fluke but performs better when rigging it side ways so that it mimics a dying shad. Work it almost like you would a worm.Top 25 Contributor
