...like...i have two of these the olive and the lighter color one...and...now during the spring and summer when i am out fishing....(about all i really do)...i am always never without one of my brims...they help keep you cool...ie...the mesh has great airflow...and the brim sheilds my face and neck from the sunburn
i refuse to go without the brim....
...i may have to get the other one that i lack...i know how i am....cool like that!!
...as far as the leather strap being rough...i only use mine during WINDY days...i even keep it on my skull when on plain in my boat...and it stays put on my head...de'la'...the mesh airflow...
....like...if a person wants sun protection and pure style points...this is the way to score...so durable and they will last for yrs...one of mine is three yrs now and other than a gull assult...and the mesh getting a bit soft...all is great...!...

i wear some mirrow glasses for fishing this hat is lite weight and keeps the sun off the glasses and my nose dosent get burned nice quality will have it for a long time new fishing hat
