These hook covers are great quality. They fit a wide range of hook sizes and are perfect for keeping small hands and your own from catching the pointed end of your tackle. The open through design allows water to drain keeping your hooks rust free and protected. The only drawback is the size, I prefer to use the utility boxes to keep my tackle and adding these covers eats up more space then traditional hook covers.

The main reason I purchased these Rubberized Hook Covers is that this summer I am taking my grandchildren fishing--a lot!! I know from experience that they are going to very excited about everything--and do not want an accident with some treble hooks in my box. Yes, I know I will not be fishing at all but I look at it this way--what an investment for their entire life. JB

Excellent product. Keeps things untangled in my tackle box and keeps the hooks out of my clothes. These are very durable hook covers

These covers perform excellent. They really protect the lure and the fingers. They fit onto almost every treble hook and can be used over and over again.
The only disadvantage is, that they are big and the lure might need some more space within your box.
But I highly recommend these covers.

yes, they are very easy to slip on/off.A:Â
The Hook Bonnets do a good job of keeping your baits from becoming a tangled mess in while stored in a box but I like the Lure Wraps much better for when a bait is tied on.A:Â
If you can find what they used to sell, the thin plastic hook bonnets, buy them. These rubber ones take up WAY too much room and weigh a ton. I'll let my hooks tangle before using these rubber things. They're garbage.A:Â
The rubberized ones are much better than the plastic ones. I have used both.

Hook bonnets take up a lot less room in the tackle box. In my opinion bonnets are harder to get on and off of the hook.Which is best is a matter of personal preference. Either choice is not that expensive. If you try both of them you will probably find a use for both of them as I did.
Since I am also a fishing guide and instructor to children and to the elderly. I feel that the rubberized hook cover is safer for them to use once it has been installed on the hook at least one time. This is for it to stretch to easily fit the hook.

This is one size fits all and it works great. I bought two packs of them.

No. Only one size is listed at this time that will fit from a size 6 up through a size 1/0 hook.They also work fine for me on my hooks that are a size or two smaller than the listed minimum #6.
They did work on all of my fresh and salt water plugs except for the very tiny plugs and one very large salt water plug with size 3/0 hooks. I simply updated the hooks on that plug to a smaller red 1/0 hook that the covers will fit.

The large rubber covers are great for large lures. I use the small,medium and large plastic covers for my small lures.
