these make it easier to hook the fish & keep them hooked.
HUGE improvement over standard hooks.
The orientation of the eye improves the action of the baits, & seems to make it track straighter.

These are quality jig heads at a very reasonable price. The painting is good, the hookeye is large for easy tying and the hook shape is very effective. You'll see a lot less fish throwing this hook. Works great on jumping smallmouth.

Fished walleye 2 weeks in Canada May-June 2011. This jighead out performed conventional narrow gap jig heads at least 2:1. Hooking minnow through head resulted in 80-90% successful hook ups/day over a 10 day period. Once the walleye was hooked, the loss rate was near zero.
