Bass Pro Shops Round Glass Beads 4.8 5 16 16
beads are beads Bass pro brand beads are fine. I use them when worm fishing. What happened to the black beads? March 21, 2010
Nice Glass Beads Been using Bass Pro faceted red glass beads a good while on Texas and Carolina rigs. Saw these round ones at the Ft. Myer store and decided to try them to see if they make any difference. In all honesty, I can't really say they are any better than the faceted ones - they both work well. They have clean, smooth holes and are the prettiest deep red I've ever seen. December 4, 2013
Glass and Brass Seems to me that using glass beads with brass weights are a great combination when fishing plastics. These beads not only protect your knot, but seem to create a subtle clicking sound which proves to lure even the timid big mouths to bite. March 30, 2008
A great fish attracter I have used plastic beads on my Carolina Rig but they don't give the good clicking sound as the glass beads do. I use the clear beads along with my red to give the fish an added attraction to my bait at the end of my line. December 16, 2013

If you're using the beads in clear water the faceted surface can reflect light in a way that can be an attractant to fish in a carolina rig.

Both work well, I prefer the round glass as they seem to slide up and down easier.
