Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Good! I often replace hooks on existing lures and these hooks go over and beyond my expectations--only wish they came in a couple of sizes larger since many of us are going to larger baits. November 17, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good hooks Basically what you would expect them to be. Solid hook for the price, used on fish up to 8 lbs without any problems. April 29, 2010

A:
Very different sizes, when the size is given as a 6/0 it means the hook gets bigger as the number goes up. If it just gives a number the it means the hook gets smaller as the number goes down. A 6 is a little small for a rat-l-trap, so I'd go with size 4. Get standard round bend trebles, and go for the red make that bait bleed!

A:
on my crank baits i use a #6 on the front and a #8 on the back. on my shallow divers i use only #8 on front and back. i found that i don't get hung up as much. this also works very good if you fish during the winter months when the fish is sluggish in cold water. the fish will take most or all of the lure in it's mouth. please try this method and i think you will be surprised.

Yes, the numbers are the hook size. A 6 and 6/0 are not the same size, 6/0 is larger.
