Bass Pro Shops Rolling Rod Carts
My wife made me buy this rod rack and for once I'm glad she did. I grew up with fishing rods living in the corner of the garage. That's just how it was. So when we were at my in-laws place in the Florida Keys and they had all their rods in a rolling rack my wife made me order one. I expected to spend a lot more than I did for the rack. Then I expected to get some piece of junk because it was cheap. It's actually a nice piece of furniture. The packaging was all messed up when I picked it up from the post office. Nothing was damaged and all the little parts were still there so no worries there but I think Bass Pro shouldn't just mail this rack in the same box you buy it in the store in! The assembly was easy and I was really surprised at the quality of the wood used. The quality of the rollers isn't great but they will work unless you plan on taking your rods for a walk down the street. This rack comes in two sized and i would recommend buying the larger rack unless you only use small rods. My 4000 and 6000 reels are a little crowded in the small rack. All and all this is a great rack and well worth the money. If your like me and your used to the rods just being in the corner this is a nice upgrade. I enjoy seeing my rods sitting all proper in the rack when I go down stairs and my wife enjoys not knocking over my stuff.

Assembly was straight-forward with good instructions, but it's a little more challenging if you're doing it yourself. It took me (without any assistance) about 20 - 25 minutes. Once assembled it looks great and holds the rods in position as advertised, and putting them in place and removing them is effortless. The only criticism I have is that the wheel design could be improved - it's not as smooth when being moved as it could be. That's not a big deal for me as I don't need to move it often, and when I do it's just a matter of a few feet. Also I was happy I bought the larger version which provides more room than the standard size, which may be a little too cramped.

Rolling Rod Carts
These are the sturdiest rod holders I've owned. assembly was easy and fit perfectly in my Man Cave. I purchased two large size units for Holding 40 plus Loomis rods and Abu-G reels for salmon, steelhead and bass fishing. I highly recommend these, as the wood finish is of excellent quality too.
