Bass Pro Shops Rod Secure Rod Holder
rod saver for sure
i bought a new 7-z nitro..put my rods on deck of the boat and haul butt down the lake..about 4 hrs into my fishing trip, i was luckily in 1-2 foot water when my rubber band type rod holder snap and my 300 dollar rods roll over into the lake... after retrieving them from 2 ft of water .. after i got home i order the rod savers that should have been on this boat from the get go---love them and my rods are safe and sound even at 62.miles an hr......hooksetter

Rod Tie Downs
Got these tie downs because my rod box is not long enough..1994 Nitro..17'6" ..The Rod tie down work pretty good, but to long, I ended up having them cut down at a shoe shop and I even added snaps tabs to make them even more secure when closed. Trust me, when you see a $350.00 -$500.00 dollar rod and reel go flying off your boat at 75 MPH. .You want all the secure tie downs you can get...The Velcro will and has come lose, so that's why I had the snaps added. Other than that the Bass Pro Shop Rod Ties work.. This is why I only give it a 3 star rating...BTW, the added shoe shop expense was $7.50.....

I needed something to hold my rods while running down the river, saw the Bass Pro Shops Rod Holder s in the catalog, ordered it in the 2" style. It was so easy to install. Placed 5 rods in and strapped them down, the rod holder did a great job, we hit waves, the boat vibrated, we hit boat wakes ,bounced, and my rods stayed strapped to the deck. When it came time to fish, just pull the strap and my rods were free to fish with. Great product...

I bought these to screw into the seat of my 14' aluminum boat, i was very sceptical but they work great! i even put 2" of foam in them to protect my rods and they are a great investment! so affordable and a good product.
