I purchased 2 two packs for my boat. Easy install and work great. I caught a 20lb carp and the holder held up great before I noticed the pole bending. Got distracted. I bought 4 additional mounts. They take a trip or two to get the hang of how they function but all in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

All I can say is you get what you pay for. the cost is cheap and so is the rode holder. the pin in the locking lever pulls through the plastic extremely easy. You can't get it tight enough to troll with or even think about hooking a large fish. I took a chance buying them on line sight unseen. Leason learned!!!!

Yes you can mount them. However it would be a good idea to put a Finish on the inside felt lining, It tends too wear out with the water and abbration.Other than that a Great product.

The holders rotate 360 degrees so you can mount them on either side of the boatA:Â
The rod holders and 360 degree adjustable, and can be used on either side of the boat.A:Â
Once you have installed the base and inserted the holder, lift the holder slightly and rotate in any direction that you want.A:Â
They mounted on both sides of my boat just fine.A:Â
The rod holders I purchased has the notch on the rod holder where it faces up and down the boat when you insert it into the holder. Therefore, it locks facing either way off the boat and works on either side of the boat.Thanks.
