Yes, you can mount them on any flat surface, and on any hull material; plastic, fiberglass, steel, aluminum, wood,... anything. And, you'll love the adjustments built in to them, and dollar for dollar, you'll love the value and quality even more!

Yes you can mount them. However it would be a good idea to put a Finish on the inside felt lining, It tends too wear out with the water and abbration.
Other than that a Great product.

Yes mounts come with. And Im sure youve seen some bad reviews about rod holders not being durable for the BIG hit. I took some advise from a guys review that has helped in this area. He suggested replacing the levers that hold rods in place with 1/4 inch bots and wing nuts. Ive done this and the bolts and wing nuts work very well. Great rod holders for the price.

We use 6 on 2012 Tracker with no problem. Just buy some carriage bolts 1/4 in and about 1 1/2 or 2 inch length and slide 2 into versatrack. Carriage bolts have a square under the head that keeps bolt from turning while you tighten nut. We have no problems.

The rod holders I purchased has the notch on the rod holder where it faces up and down the boat when you insert it into the holder. Therefore, it locks facing either way off the boat and works on either side of the boat.
Thanks.
