Rated 4 out of 5 by nook11 Value for the money! I have owned several of these and put tem on all of my boats. For the price they are a really great deal. They are super easy to mount. The only downside is that the locking mechanism is not the best. The plastic piece usually pops off if you have them too tight. I usually just take them off and use a wing nut. I have noticed alot of people stating that these will break on big fish. this is not the case. I think that has to do with user error. I have caught huge catfish and never had a problem. Rated 5 out of 5 by mfitz709 Excellent Buy You can't beat these rod holders. For the money they're great! I tightened the locking nut just a little for my own piece of mind. Easy to install and works really well.. December 4, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bear31831 Not so hot Tickled pink when I first got these holders and have seen them on another boat. Worked great. However, someone did a design change and took away the wing-type tightening nut for the angle adjustment and installed a "cam action" type tightener. Good idea but it doesn't work. Fish gets on line and it will pull the holder straight down with the possibility of slipping the rod out of the holder no matter how hard you cam it. Wound up going to hardware store and replacing all the cam stuff with wing nuts and bolts. Works good now but shouldn't have had to do that. Bass Pro should field test some of these items first. A:holds baitcasters great, spinning have to be upside down
A:With the flush deck mounts
A:Yes, you can mount them on any flat surface, and on any hull material; plastic, fiberglass, steel, aluminum, wood,... anything. And, you'll love the adjustments built in to them, and dollar for dollar, you'll love the value and quality even more!
A:Yes you can mount them. However it would be a good idea to put a Finish on the inside felt lining, It tends too wear out with the water and abbration.
Other than that a Great product.

A:Comes with side mounts and not the flush mounts.
A:Holders come with mounts and you can buy mounts seperately.
A:Yes. They come with side mount holders. If you want flush mount holders, they are sold separately for three bucks each.
A:The mounts come with it plus the screw to hold it on.
A:No T bolt that i have seen and you can purchase the side mounts for the holders.
A:not that im aware of yhey come as pictured
Details:who is the manufacturer and waranty details
Details:Both rod holders appear to be for the same side of boat. Did I miss something or is there a way to adjust for right and left?
A:Rod holders rotate 360 degrees so they work on either side
A:The holders rotate 360 degrees so you can mount them on either side of the boat
A:The rod holders and 360 degree adjustable, and can be used on either side of the boat.
A:Once you have installed the base and inserted the holder, lift the holder slightly and rotate in any direction that you want.
A:They mounted on both sides of my boat just fine.
A:The rod holders I purchased has the notch on the rod holder where it faces up and down the boat when you insert it into the holder. Therefore, it locks facing either way off the boat and works on either side of the boat.
A:yes they will, however, anything larger than a small bream will pull the rod (and holder) down.
A:They have nearly a full range of motion, but will not rotate directly vertical.
A:Yes, if not straight up and down they will get you very close.
A:The base would have to be modified. They won't just clamp on.
A:No, these units are flush mount
A:If you have U bolts I think they would work just fine.
A:Yes, depending upon if you want to drill direct holes or use "U" bolts (2 1/2" L X 2"W) as I did. There is a grove on the flat side to assist rail mounting use.
A:I think you would have to make your own mounts probally. I had to for my pontoon
A:I am not sure about Attwood but they did not fit my Scotty mount. These holders were to small for my Scotty mount.
A:Yes.....thats what I purchased with these Rod Holders to mount on square rails on my Pontoon Boat.
A:NO...tried it wouldn't fit the atwood's that i have, the atwood is a bigger unit all the way round.
A:Yes the rod holder will fit in Scotty mounts, however, the Scotty Rod holder will not fit into the BP rod holder mounts
A:I have one Scotty Quick Draw holder and mount and these would not fit.
A:These seem to fit all conventional mounts.
A:They use standard threads. 3/8 for the L'il ones and 1/2 for the Pro ones so if Scotty uses standard threads, yes.
