Waste of TIme I got this product from Bass Pro online and thought it was what I needed for my newly refaced boat. Installed the panel and it worked fine, for about a week after one week one of the switches went bad. About 2 weeks later another switch went bad and the boat was just sitting in the garage. So I thought that maybe it was just the panel. I saw that they came out with a updated panel that had rubber covers on the switches and a different style of fuse. So i thought that maybe I should try this one. Well need less to say another thirty dollars down the drain. The day I installed the panel two switches were bad right out of the box. Like the others said I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought the product TWICE. This product is not something that BPS should sell or any one for that reason. March 29, 2010
An absolute waste of money I bought two of these; one after the first one siezed up within one season. I figured it was something I did wrong, so I replaced it with the same panel (especially since I had a hole cut to size already) and the panel lasted less than 3 months. I'll be replacing with a more expensive, and hopefully, more reliable panel from another manufacturer. DO NOT BUY THIS PANEL! June 4, 2009
Switches I had this product for 8 months and it quit working as the others stated. I'm going to petition for them to remove this item off the shelf. Bass pro sells good stuff this product does not warrant the right to bear the name bass pro. They are too good for this product. March 14, 2009
Excellent Buy!! I bought the Bass Pro switch panel for a project boat I've been working on and it was very easy to install, cheap and you get the professionally install look! April 22, 2014

Hello demojf,
I use my panel in a kayak where it gets wet and exposed to the weather and still functions. However my kayak is cleaned and stored when not in use. I would not expect anything left in directly sunlight and weather at a dock to last for more than a season or two.
