I have 9 reels in my case, 2 (4000 series) spinning, 2 (1500 series) spinning, 2 musky round casting, and 3 bass casting, and they all fit snug and secure in there own little pockets.
The bag looked to small for 9 reels when it was sitting on the shelf at the store, but I figured what the heck I'll try it, and dang-it if it didn't hold all those reels. Best of all, you can stow this bag anywhere when your strapped for space on a road trip up north!
A well earned 5 stars!

This is one of those rare items that does just exactly what it's supposed to do. The case is lightweight, strong, versatile and compact. I've tried multiple configurations to accomodate different combinations of spinning, casting and fly reels, and it always holds them securely. I like how easily it fits into small backpacks and tackle bags. I also like being able to safely store my reels separate from my rods. I'm surprised there aren't more cases like this on the market. Bass Pro hit one out of the park with this product.

I've got 7 Shimano reels in mine. 6 spinners and a Curado. This tote will only hold 8-10 reels like advertized if they are all baitcasting reels. The bails on the spinners are too wide to fit 8 reels in. Nevertheless, this is a very good product. I use the side pockets to store extra spools and line, and put 3 reels in the rear pockets and 4 in the front pockets.
Great product, great price.

I have a Penn Fierce 7000, phluger supreme XT 30/3000 size, and a couple 5/500 size and plan to buy a 4000 size Penn Battle. I just want to make sure I can get the 7000 in there and have room for some others as well! Thanks!

My case came with one long removable divider that divides the case in half lengthwise. It also has eight smaller dividers that can be positioned for different sized compartments.This gives a maximum of ten adjustable compartments. The case is also equipped with two small pockets on the inside of one end of the case for very small items. I placed the parts lists and paper work that came with my reels in these pockets.
I am not a fly fisherman. I do have one fly reel that I never use. I could easily place ten reels of the size of my fly reels in my case with padded partitions between each reel to protect it. This would leave room to place other items such as line in the case next to the reels.

The case comes set up with 5 compartments above and below the horizontal divider. Each divider is held in place with velcrow, so they can be removed if necessary or spaced differently depending on the size of your reels.
