I have been eying this reel case for a long time. with a half dozen reels spread all over my work bench, it was time. quality is excellent, there are removable Velcro partitions. it holds 6 4000 size reels and spools. an excellent value, another great item from my favorite store!

Attractive padded case that seems to be well made. I use it to organize spare reels and some spools of fishing line to have it all handy in one place.
I like to carry extra reels and rods of different sizes in the boat when fishing. Fishing these northern US lakes we might start out fishing for panfish and end up fishing for Northern Pike on the same trip out.
If the line on a spinning reel becomes twisted or if I just want to change my style of fishing from maybe spincast to baitcast or to a trolling reel. I have the right reel with me that is already set up with the correct line ready to use. I do not have to waste time on the water re-spooling, repairing reels or wishing that I had a different sized rod and reel with me.
The padded dividers are held in place with Velcro. Part of or all of the dividers can be repositioned or completely removed from the case to accommodate about anything that you may wish to store in it. The inside dimensions of my case are about 4 1/4" X 11" X 13". This can vary some since it is a soft case that is flexible with a double zipper for the top of the case.
This case would be good for the storage of anything that you may want to keep organized and protected that can fit into the case. I am an electrical engineer so I can imagine using this case for the storage of sensitive electronic meters and test instruments.

Packed 8 saltwater spinning reels into one case. They went through baggage at the airport well. I had no problems with thecase or the reels inside.

I have a Penn Fierce 7000, phluger supreme XT 30/3000 size, and a couple 5/500 size and plan to buy a 4000 size Penn Battle. I just want to make sure I can get the 7000 in there and have room for some others as well! Thanks!

My case came with one long removable divider that divides the case in half lengthwise. It also has eight smaller dividers that can be positioned for different sized compartments.This gives a maximum of ten adjustable compartments. The case is also equipped with two small pockets on the inside of one end of the case for very small items. I placed the parts lists and paper work that came with my reels in these pockets.
I am not a fly fisherman. I do have one fly reel that I never use. I could easily place ten reels of the size of my fly reels in my case with padded partitions between each reel to protect it. This would leave room to place other items such as line in the case next to the reels.
