Bass Pro Shops Reel Stripper
Big time saver
Not much to say really. I was able to strip line off of six reels rather quickly which we all know is a real pain to do by hand. I havn't tried the hook sharpener yet and I can't comment on battery life because I haven't had it that long. That's why I'm only giving it a four star. For the price it can't be beat.

No frills, just a good stripper...
This is a very nice line stripper, that makes very short work of removing line from your spools. The flashlight on the side of this stripper is very bright and will be useful as needed. Although the hook sharpening on the top of this stripper works okay, it doesn't beat a plain 'ol honing stone in my opinion.

Don't waste your money on this item. I'm returning the one I bought because it will not grasp/pull the 4# or 6# or 8# line. I needed it badly, but it is a piece of junk. I'd go with the larger, stronger and heavier Berkley model... if you can find it. Bass Pro doesn't offer it any more as a separate item.

I have had a line stripper in the past. The one I purchased in the past came with a spooling kit that I purchased and worked very well. That is not the case with this one. It doesn't grab the line at all, so it soesn't pull it off the reel. I do not recomend it to anyone.......!
