I use these to cover all my reels even my large Shimano Baitrunners. The front of the cover streches a good bit. It only works on reels with handles on the left, but to try to answer your question, I am not for sure how large your reel is but for the price it's worth the try, because they have saved me alot of money in reel repair. I would take the chance and buy one to see you can always return it.

I have same problem you have. To save your money and gift here's what I do. Loosen the handle and put it in the folded position and then place the cover over the reel works great for me and this way I am protecting my handle also. It only takes a few seconds to fold the handle back into fishing position. It's worth a few seconds to save a reel. Hope this works for you. Good Luck

Loosen the handle nut, fold the handle up & in to the front, and the cover will fit. I use handle on left, but still prefer to keep handle inside cover.

No I have not had to cut my linealtho you can use the velcro fastner
to adjust to where your bail stops
by eather tighting or loosneing it

At the very least you will need to have some slack coming out of the reel. I suggested adding a slot or slit to the cover to take the line into consideration. Would not trade having to re-rig in order to use reel cover unless it was for extended protection.

No, you do not need to cut line, i used it, and i never cut my line.A:
Since the top is made of neoprene I would say no. But, you have to willing to do 1 or 2 things to be comfortable with it. Here are the 2 best ways I've found.1. just loosen the line slightly., if your rig can indure some slack without snagging or tangling you'll be fine.
2. Or you can try this (I did). Use a razor and slice a 1, 1-1/2 inch slit into the neoprene from the line inward. Then use a 1/16 size bit to put a hole at the end of the cut ( or try a very small "X" cut). The line threads easily through. The razor allows the neo to seal back together without a gap for the line to slide in and out of. Give it a try!

No, but it is not recommended to leave the drag set tightly due to the crushing of the drag discs. On a personal note I do cut the line.

If you rotate the bail to the topmost position, the cover should fit quite nicely. Also, sometimes the line can be looped over the hook keeper.
