Works for me!!!!!!!! I have just recently got some of these for christmas....I like em alot....My buddy messed up when he bought me the kind for round baitcasters cause I fish nothing but low-profile baitcasters....BUT these work just fine....their not as hugging to the reel as the low profiles are...but they cover everything just as good if not better....their not gonna blow off ....they strap under the reel....I got em in blue for less heat in the middle of summer....I give em a A++++...they'll come in handy on those dusty or rainy days.....thanks alot Bass pro January 25, 2007
great This is a great way to protect any reel. It keeps reels from geeting messed up while moving them around. February 13, 2009
Definitely NOT the best I have! I purchased a blue one for my new Johnny Morris reel. In the beginning I had trouble getting it on the reel. When I finally did...it fits loosely and looks very sloppy. The price is certainly good but they could have done a better job in fitting. It looks beautiful in the photo, but a far cry from reality. Sexy's Real Review I picked up the round baitcast and spinning reel covers for all my reels last week and love them. I was afraid that the spinning covers wouldn’t fit my larger Abu Garcia spinning reels but they do! The blue colored material in the photos is what allows the cover to “stretch” to fit around the bigger reels. The only thing I didn’t see was the “low-profile” baitcast reel covers. They only list the “round” and “spinning” ones on the website, but in the store they have a low-profile one. The low-profile covers fit the standard sized baitcasting reels whereas the round cover fits the bigger ones. Best buy for the price/quality! April 17, 2009

I have this cover for my 5500DA, 4600AL, 5500C3 and 5600C4 and it fits great and these are all round reels. Buy one and try it . If it doesn't fit the 7000 us it on smaller round reel. I have thirteen Abu Garcia Baitcasters an there's a cover on every one, low profle and round

Its going to be tight but it should stretch out to fit this reel. Its neoprene type material, I would give it a shot.

Please take a look at our Offshore Angler Reel Covers. Item number 473-504-00 is more than likely the cover you would need. To locate this cover, do a product search by item number.

From all the information I have gathered on Shimano 300/400 series - this cover will fit. It fits my Abu Garcia 6600C and that's nearly the same size as your 300/400 series.

Also my Abu Garcia still has about 1/2 inch of extra room left in the cover once it's on, not to mention that it will stretch another inch or so on top of that because of this covers design.

I think you'll be fine.
