I picked this up because it said it was for left and right sided baitcasters....well not completely true..the only way it works on a left handed reel is if you turn it upsidedown... then it llooks stupid... not me mention it doesn't fit all that great...you defiantly get what you pay for on this item...it also looks cheap...

These neoprene covers fit my abu garcia reels quite nicely. So far they have done a good job protecting the reels while in the rod locker.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by AFFisher Good product
This is a good product that should fit many different types and sizes of baitcaster reels. I travel home (Louisiana) and bring my poles and this will keep them from getting scratched. I think this is an overall excellent product and well worth the money

They're for securing the rod/reel for transport. You can hang them on a hook or loop them over a knob, etc.Top 500 Contributor

I believe the bottom one is to slip over butt end of your handle as an extra measure to keep the cover in place or from getting caught on something and slipping off. Not sure about the top loop, except maybe a spot you can hook a lure onto? I plan on snipping mine off with scissors.A:Â
To put them around the reel handles to make the cover fit more securely.Top 50 Contributor

Fits all my rod/ reel combos. As long as you order the right length bag. (6.5, 7.0, 7.5 ft.)A:Â
Yes absolutely!!! It will fit any low profile reel and give you some extra room around the reel which provides ease of use while slipping it onto the reel itself.A:Â
They fit my Qantum Energy reels I am not familiar with the Kinetic but if it is similar it should work.A:Â

A:Â
No slot but I guess you could cut one and seal the edges with a little ca glue so it doesn't unravel.A:Â
No. It fits around the line with no problem.A:Â
No, There is no slot for the line to go through but the reel covers are very soft and you should have no problem allowing extra line and just run it under the reel cover. That is what I do with mine. Hope this was of some help :) Catch one for me.A:Â
No, there is no slot for the line.Top 250 Contributor
A:Â
No, But you can cut a slit in the cover for the line to go throughA:Â
No but it does not have any problem going over a tight line.A:Â
No, but the line can be fed through the openings and tied onto the handle. Or, loosen a few inches and feed it under the cover and up the rod if you do not want to go through the hassle of feeding line through the guides every time.Top 250 Contributor
A:Â
No. But personaly, I slack the line, put the cover on and then engage the reel. It works fine this wayA:Â
No, there is no slot for the line to go through. All you have to do is leave the line a little slack and put the cover on and any lure stays in place.Top 250 Contributor
A:Â
It will fold around the line. No need for modification!Answers

I just put it on my revo sx and there is a lot of room so I would say yes!A:Â

I use it on my revo S.A:Â
Yes I have one on mine.A:Â
Yup, it fits all low profile realsA:Â
Fits any and all of my baitcasting reels. You should be able to judge by looking at the picture. It streches and has a adjustable veldroe strap on bottom. Not familiar with your specific reel. Hey it's cheap, order one and try it like I did.A:Â
I think it will. It fits great over my REVO SX plus with extra room and not to mention its the type of material where it stretches so I think you should be fine. And you might be able to try Customer Service, shoot them an email, they may know more than me.A:Â
Yes it should fit fine. They are one size fit all so naturally a little lose. They fit every low profile Bass Casting Reel I own. For larger reels like a Penn 965 use the round baitcasting covers.

A:Â
Yes, you can put it on without cutting your line. I leave a little slack, attach the reel cover, then reel the slack to my desired tension.Top 250 Contributor
A:Â
No you dont just leave a litle slack so you can put the cover over.A:Â
You can cut a small line in the cover and it still fits great due to its elasticityTop 250 Contributor
A:Â
If you keep your line loose enough, it can be kept without having to cut it.Top 50 Contributor
A:Â
Absolutely. Just leave a little slack in your line as not to bow the rod.A:Â
Yes cut a small slit in the forward facing part of the cover and wahlah! NO need to restringAnswers
A:Â
NO. I bought it cause it says it will but i fits POORLY on my Shimano Curado Left Handed Reel.A:Â
Yes the low profile covers work well on left handed models, if you don't care which way the logo appears.Half my Bass Casting Reels are left handed. If it is a bigger reel then get the Round Bait casting covers

A:Â
Yea it works OK! That being said i hate that the bassproshops label is upside down and the velcro is backwardsA:Â
Don't own one, so I am not sure. Looks like it would do OK. Just the LOGO would be backwards.A:Â
It works for both right handed and left handed reels, Fits perfectly.A:Â
Normal, it does not depend of the handle side.A:Â
It would work for left handed models. You would just have to turn it over.A:Â
IT DOES BUT THE LOGO WILL BE TURNED THE OTHER WAY BUT WHO CARES BOUT THAT ITS $3.00!!!!!!Top 1000 Contributor
A:Â
They are a little more difficult to put on the left handed low-profile baitcasters due to the shape of the cover, but they do fit and work well. I have two leftys that I use for crankin' and they fit them. The round covers are pretty much universal.Top 500 Contributor
A:Â
It absolutely does! With the bass pro logo right side up it serves for right hand retrieve, just turn the logo so it is upside down as you are looking at your reel and voila! It woks great for your left hand reels!1 of 1
