The Bass Pro Shops® Pyramid Sinkers are a practical choice when fishing water with sandy or muddy bottoms, swift currents and rough conditions. The 4-sided design of pyramid weights resists tumbling, allowing your bait rig to get in place and stay there. Pyramid Sinkers cast well, sink quickly and won't damage your line.

These are great for surf fishing. I use these all the time but when surf fishing you do snap a lot of so by alot of them. I like the 4 oz. for surf fishing and I use the 2 oz. in sandy or muddy rivers for catfish or trout
