Rated 2 out of 5 by wouldn't buy I bought this trolling motor and it worked really good for the first day. I would rather just pay the little extra for a minkota. From raising and lowering the motor, the gaskets started falling off after about 3 uses. Then the last time we used it, the propeller popped off and sank to the bottom of the lake. It needs some type of pin to keep the propeller blade from coming off just in case it comes loose during use July 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for a while... I was very happy with the 55 lbs thrust motor for the first three years. On year four, reverse no longer works and this year the motor is completely dead. Will not turn or anything. I borrowed my brother's when mine died and it worked well earlier in the year but now it is also completely dead. Will not buy another and will not be recommending to any would be buyers anytime soon. I have been happy with all my BPS products besides this trolling motor. July 9, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst waste of money we used the unit for 1 season and when we got it out to put on the boat this year it wouldn't turn. the wholed inside was rusted to the case. VERY poorly made. We are not sure if we are going to buy anything major from Bass Pro after that. Really disappointed. June 19, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by go with the minn kota bought it in march used it once and the tilt lever broke. then went to use it the second time and reverse did not work on it. Save yourself some hassle and buy a minn kota. September 15, 2013

This is a freshwater trolling motor, and is not recommended for use in saltwater conditions. For saltwater trolling motors see the link below-
