Rated 4 out of 5 by Prowler Trolling Motor I purchased the Prowler because my cousin has a transom mount Prowler and he has never had a problem with it. So I got a bow mount on my last flats boat. My Evinrude 88SPL was not very reliable so I used my trolling motor at least 5 times to get my back in. It saved my hundreds of dollars in towing expense and I could not be more satisfied. If you don't want to spend the thousand plus dollars for a top end trolling motor, this is a great option at a much lower price. September 12, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Returned... I thought I would save @ $250 and try this new trolling motor. I carefully unpacked it, and my son noticed a crack in the headunit where it through-bolts to the shaft. Never even made it to the water. The customer service guy was great when I went back to exchange it. I went with a Riptide Autopilot that is built much sturdier. May 24, 2011
