Just purchase over the weekend. Went together easy. Just the right size for a mess of fish. Going to cook some this weekend ,calling for warm weather. If I don't catch a mess. Going to get what is left over from last year.

Bought this for xamping I havent used this one but have used my friends and it is a great product to own. Ir is useful. Can use for other thing than frying fish when camping. We made corn on the cob and spaggetti for the kids with it. Great product!

pans used should at least 12 inches in diameter or use a metal plate over the burner for smaller pans

You can use this for what ever you need to heat up. Maple syrup is my favorite. Whiskey still, boil water to de-feather water fowl, stew tomatoes. What ever your little heart desires. Use any pot or pan you would use in any other cooker or on your kitchen stove.A:Â
Definitely. This would be an excellent stove for emergency use.A:Â
It has "fingers" that go in to the center so you can put a smaller pan on it. I used one very similar in the summer when the power went out. The only catch is these are high heat burners so it's near impossible to have a "low" setting.Answers

Maybe the regulator is bad or try opening the propane tank slowly before lighting the burner as there is a safety unit inside the tank valve that does not allow full flow of fuel if it's opened quickly. They just started this about 1 1/2 years ago to my knowledge.A:Â

Here is a great way to determine how much oil you will need:(1) Place the food product in the basket.
(2) Place the food product and holder into the empty vessel.
(3) Fill the vessel with water just until the food product is completely submerged. There must be a minimum of 3 inch (8 cm) between the water level and top of the vessel.
(4) Remove the food product from the vessel and either mark the water level on the side of the vessel or measure the amount of water in the vessel.
(5) Remove the water and completely dry the vessel and the food product.
(6) This is the amount of cooking oil the vessel is to be filled with to cook the food
product.
