Our ProLite Special Baitcast Reel utilizes an aluminum frame and V-shaped forged, double-anodized aluminum spool for reduced weight and durability. For an incomparably smooth feel, this reel features a 7+1 bearing system with Powerlock Instant Anti-Reverse. A recurved handle and recurved star drag are double-anodized aluminum for added strength and weight reduction. A Dual Braking System combines a centrifugal and magnetic brake system for outstanding performance and consistent accuracy. Other features include a zirconium oxide line guide and brass drive gear. Recovery rate is 24" per handle turn.

Light but incredibly strong, Bass Pro's one-piece ProLite Trigger Rod is built on a fast-action, 24-ton modulus IM6 graphite blank with an EVA-reinforced cork, split-grip handle. The ProLite Rod sports black guide frames with stainless steel rings to resist corrosion, plus an EVA butt cap for added comfort. Teamed with the ProLite Reel this baitcast combo delivers a lot of fishing features for its modest price.
