Poor craftmanship plus it rusted easily, not reliable when hooked up a big fish. I used to have a brass stringer which was much better & very reliable but no longer available, too bad.

This stringer completely rusted out after 2 uses. It is a terrible product; I was shocked that Bass Pro sold something of such dubious quality.

I agree with the other reviews. The stringer hooks need to be of stronger material. Have quit using this type of stringer and have gone to the rope type. It is much cheaper and is more reliable. Have lost many fish until I changed. Walleye are sometimes to hard to catch just to loose them because of a stringer.

Cable mainline is extremely tough but clips are very weak and large fish can pull them straight. Would not use this stringer for any fish over 10 lbs. Large catfish, 20 lb plus range, can and will straighten these clips out and get away.
