Best Snap Swivels
I received my Pro Qualifier Swivels a few days after receiving this message, hence my late response. Just so you know, "snail mail" really IS when it comes to getting and sending stuff to and from Hawaii. The swivels are superb when it comes to keeping line twists nil in terminal tackle, probably better than regular ball-bearing type snap swivels, regardless of price or brand name. Most of my fishing is in-shore salt water fishing for juvenile giant trevally (GT), and these guys are tough on light tackle.

These dual spinning swivels are great. I troll wedding rings all the time and I get no line twist any more sense switching to these swivels.
Thank you to the maker of this product.

hard to open
I am old and have lost some of my hand strength but I wanted to say that I have a hard time opening/closing these snaps. I was hoping to avoid having to cut and re-tie my 50lb test bite leader when I changed lures but guess I'll have to keep doing it.

Snaps will work with some lures but will effect other lures true action by non direct contact with the eye of the lure causing some lures to sway or even roll or pull off to one side. You may find it helpful to use a leader to get the best action from your lure.
Black will blend in more with stained water, but I have used nickel snaps and swivels and still have gotten lots of bites on artificial lures. I think personally the flash of the nickel snaps adds some appeal to the bait.
Black has less flash. I was trout fishing with a shiny swivel once andI kept getting bits, but no fish. Half way through I relize they were not bitting the hook but the swivel. I cut it off and caught my trout. There is your advantage. Tight Lines
