I did not get to use the rain gear in the rain but fishing Lake Erie in a bass boat can be moist. I was making 45 minute runs to the islands in 3-4 footers and taking spray the whole time. Even at 25 mph the only time I got wet inside the jacket was when a wave came over the front and hit me square in the face letting a little water run down my chest. But that was it the rest of the time it was dry as a bone. It was also a little cold and in flatter water running 60 mph the wind could cut through my buddies jacket but not this stuff. Along with dry I was warm the whole time. The hood stayed up and was snug with no flap at all even at top speeds. As far as "going #1" there was no problems in this suit. Plenty of zipper space to allow this common fishing activity to take place without issue. This stuff is also tough, comfortable and looks good on top of that. Spend the money and get it. You wont need another pair for years.

I have wanted a Good rain suit for years, this is it. This was well worth the investment. I can see why so many people have purchased this suit, and I can see why it gets so many good reviews.

I'm 5' 5" 210 lbs. 36 waist, with a 26 inseam. I got a large and it fits great. You could probable do a medium but a large would give you the option of layering in colder weather. That being said I was wearing a T-shirt and shorts under my gear in 45 degree weather and was quite comfortable all day even with spray from the lake on long runs.

The material is differnent on the knees, maybe a little stronger. There are darts sewn in at the knees to allow easier flexion, but there is no extra padding.A:

No extra zipper, the main zipper can be unzipped from the top or hte bottom but still kinda high to use for urination.

Pro Qualifier bibs have a 2-way zipper under the placket which is velcro all the way along. One less thing to unzip!A:
Yes, the pro qualifier bibs has a double zipper: one going up and one going down. It's easy to take a #1 in these bibs, as compared to the old 100 MPH suits.Details:

I typically wear a 1 or 2x and ended up with a 3x in the Pro Qualifier but I tried them on with insulated bibs and a Carhartt jacket on as well. I would recommend go up one size from your norm to allow for clothing and layering.
