tough to handle Perhaps I ordered the wrong size, but I had trouble in rigging this swilvel. I thought I was ordering the larger swivel that is not split ring. I believe it will work fine for panfish, but I believe I will continue using its larger brother for my primary target, Bass. July 29, 2010
Excellent design and function They do what they are supposed to do and do it well. I have used before and will again. November 1, 2010
Great for Using With Spinner Baits The title says it all, good swivel and good split rings. January 24, 2011

A:
The purpose of the Fluorocarbon leader is so the fish only sees the bait, so adding a swivel would defeat the purpose. Add the swivel to the end of your main line then add your leader and tie the Fluorocarbon leader directly to the bait. Thank you for your question.

A:
Solid Ring swivels have a higher pound test rating for the same size swivel, since a solid ring is stronger than a split ring. Split rings will allow you to attach directly to gear, while you have to tie on to a solid ring. Thank you for your question.

For ease of casting and retrieve I tie direct to the main line. I also think you gain a bit of sensitivity.
