This reel is an absolute MUST-HAVE for any bass fisherman. I use weightless Sinko's and baby Fluke's and they LAUNCH off the spool. For the price, and the quality...BPS hit this one over the fence.

I took this reel out to test it against a Shamino Citica Reel. It was kind of a challenge thrown at me by some of my friends that work at PBS. After fishing two days straight with the two reels I returned the Citica and kept this reel. My partner was using the Curado reel and I was always out casting him even into the wind. We were fishing a fluke un-weighted on a 4/0 gama hook on 10 pound Evolution Line.
I can say without a doubt that this reel is better that the Citica and is a very smooth reel to fish. Buy it.

These are very fine reels. Smooth and quite. The only drawback is the clutch pad requires a little more effort than most reels, but you get used to it quickly
