Made from premium quality balsa wood, this Bass Pro Shops® Premium Weighted Oval Spring Float is weighted for longer casts. Providing super-smooth, well-balanced drifts and responsive to the slightest bite, this quality Bass Pro Shops spring float is clearly visible in rough water and promotes faster hook-sets. Balsa floats are very durable and won't crack like plastic bobbers. Made in USA.

So-So Two problems with these: 1) durability- the finish came off on some of them pretty easily and the the spring on on of them just popped right off and the bobber floated away 2)too much weight- I bought these because I figured a little extra weight would be handy to keep these upright when using light bait and to allso get better casting distance but the weight is too much. Whats the point if these hardly float? I used this bobber with a size 6 hook, a cricket and a tiny 1/64 crimp weight to get the cricket down and the bobber sank till it was an inch below the surface. Not very durable Only used these a handful of times and the wood is already starting to crack. You can see them really well, but don't seem like they are going to hold up. April 29, 2011

Floating Grubs I use these for floating trout magnets to catch trout and crappie. June 30, 2010
