Rated 5 out of 5 by nice this works very well withe the bass pro shops tri colored grub kit and and catches fish. it also works well with berkley tri colored grub. January 1, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Bass Pro shops really stepped it up with these jig heads. These are quality jigs unlike many of the others on the market. They have Gama hooks and the eye are open on all of them I recieved. Nothing is more annoying than cleaning eyes out. I reccomend these for 2-4 inch grubs. The paint it very chip resistant, while fishing a rock lake I caused minimal damage to the jigs. These are DEADLY April 23, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by The Jighead that Strikes I fished with the Bass Pro Shops Premium Round Jigheads during the spring and early summer months. The Jigheads vibrant color had the Walleye striking like crazy. The choice between blood red and green hooks really gives the customer the opportunity to maximize his ability to catch fish. The weight placement creates a feel that allows the fisherman to feel every pull or tug. This product capitalizes on the weakness that makes walleye strike. July 11, 2006
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Jigheads!!!!! These jigheads are awesome! They come with a great hook and you will have no problem keeping the fish hooked up! Excellent for shakey head presentations! Get you some of these jig heads- You will not be disappointed! July 11, 2006

A:
For jig weights you will want to use which ever weight allows you to stay in your strike zone. If you are fishing bottom feeding fish use a weight that will keep you in contact with the bottom, but don't go to heavy, just enough to bounce off the bottom.

In all honesty it depends on the strength of the current. if the current is weak 1/8- 1/4 oz, and so on and so forth.

no it would not be good for a jig in fast current you would need a one fourth or one half for that.

It depends on the cover and fishing conditions more than there being one set size, in my opinion. If it's windy I would upsize, otherwise I tend to fish the lightest weight possible. Start with 1/8th and let conditions dictate where you go from there.
