Even that the 1/16 oz. weights are only 1/16 oz, the outer diameter is too large. They should have a much smaller diameter and be slightly longer. But it is had to find the 1/16 oz anywhere so these will do for now but not again.

This is the first time I have ever used brass weights for bass fishing. I used the weights ahead of soft plastic worms and craws. It works very well and is more eco friendly than lead. Also since its a solid metal, it can make a clanking noise more so than soft lead off of objects, that may attract or I guess in some instances (skittish fish) scare fish.

a great alternative to lead. not as soft as lead and will create a more sound when the weight comes in contact with bottom objects

I got the brass weights. Very compact with over sized center holes to fit over your knot. A great feature if you ask me. Decent price and you get good quantity. Something about that shiny brass head for your Texas rigged worm........... It makes a difference for me.
