Bass Pro Shops Premium Balsa Slip Floats - Pencil
Look out pan fish!
I have used these slip floats for years, and I'm not about to change now.
They hit the water softer and don't scare the fish away, in fact I think they make the fish more curious! The colors are good for morning to evening, and the float stands taller for those long casts and small waves. The balsa wood holds up better than plastic and longer than styrafoam. By using a small bead and a sliding knot, the float stays at the sinker for casts as accurate as a lure. If you haven't used these before, you have to try them!

BALSA SLIP FLOATS
Very good float for the light hitting crappie we fish for in the Delta(bay area). With still enough float to support a medium to large minnow. Very little resistant when casting and very smooth on line for the deeper depths I need for winter crappie. Not the best float for high wind.

great slip bobber
this is excellent. i use this when im fishing for chain pickerel, bluegill and brown trout with a little jig underneath it to detect those super sensitive nibbles. i like how its made with balsa wood and not plastic so it doesnt crack and the colors are a big help to.

Have used these floats for panfish for two years and am very happy with them. They never crack, cast smoothly and are still visible in a light wind. I remove the top slider piece though so the line slides more smoothly through the float.
