I needed a rod to catch bass in heavy cover and cast long distances and this rod does it for me. My casting reel and this rod seem to work perfectly together. The long handle makes it easier for me to make longer casts.

Bought 4 7'6" MH's to go with abu c3's for catfishing on the reservoir and rivers. These are perfect for drifting with a stiff backbone and just enough flex at the tip. These are also perfect for bottom fishing with live bait or anything else you put on there. These are not too big or not to small. I was worried about them being to thick but for a catfish rod they are perfect.

Very good fishing rod,extra length for casting big lures a mile, firm sturdy rod to handle big fish, you'll never get a better rod for the money.
