Bass Pro Shops® Power Plus™ Trophy Class Trigger Rods
Tackle big fish like catfish, striper, and largemouth bass. These rods have plenty of backbone and muscle, yet without large diameters and weight. The secret is in the unidirectional fiberglass construction that eliminates the layering normally found in fiberglass rods. This process also adds flexibility, eliminating premature breakage and stress on the wrist. Features an extended EVA foam handle, for extra power and fighting leverage, that easily fits in rod holders, heavy-duty double foot aluminum oxide guides, hook keeper for pre-rigging and sensitive graphite reel seat. All rods are 2 piece. Guide number includes tip.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by alsarollin19 great rods for the $$!
I now have 4 of these rods. The latest one I bought was the 7'6" heavy action. I paired it with the BPS Snagging special as my Lake Huron White fish outfit. I'm waiting on season to really put it to the test. I really like these rods, much lighter and more sensitive than the Ugly Sticks I've used forever. Even the heavy action rod has really good feel. Made well and low dough!

We catfish at night off a boat and for the money the power plus rods can't be beat for catching catfishing, we catch Bluecats up to 70lbs. and this rod can't be beat for the performance and cost.

This is a nice rod at a good price BUT, it would be a MUCH BETTER rod if the rear butt grip were 3" longer so that you could rest your elbow on the butt.
