Our advanced process combines graphite with fiberglass for superior flexibility and strength. Sensitive enough to detect light nibbles; accurate enough for long casts with full control. Lightweight design for easy all-day use. Ideal for light angling, especially for crappie and panfish, but ready to go toe-to-toe with those big bass and walleye, too! We've probably priced them too low--because these rods not only look great, they fish better than many rods costing twice as much. Equipped with comfy EVA foam grips and smooth ceramic line guides.

Action:
MH = Medium Heavy

Rated 5 out of 5 by nice rod this is a nice rod. it has some power to it and its very durable. May 29, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great MH Rod I have used this rod for about 3 weeks now and it has held up to all my fishing needs. Bought this for my old reel and is still out performing my rod that came with my reel! For a cheap rod you wont go wrong with this one! June 5, 2008

I would not recommend the power plus rods. Use the Brawler. Why? The Brawler is the same type of construction as the ugly stick, lower retail, and would work as good as the ugly stick.

A:
Certainly. Most of the new braided lines are not abraisive at all. These inexpensive rods hold up very well. Unless you step on one... guilty.
