Our advanced process combines graphite with fiberglass for superior flexibility and strength. The Bass Pro Shops® Power Plus™ Graphite Casting Rod is sensitive enough to detect light nibbles; accurate enough for long casts with full control. Lightweight design for easy all-day use. Ideal for light angling, especially for crappie and panfish,  but ready to go toe-to-toe with those big bass and walleye, too! We've probably priced them too low—because these rods not only look great, they fish better than many rods costing twice as much. Rod is collapsible for easy storage. Equipped with comfy EVA foam grips and smooth ceramic line guides.

good for the price I think this rod is great except for the handle. It was too fat and not as soft and form fitting as past bass pro rods that I have had. The action was perfect and the quality is true to a Bass Pro rod. November 8, 2010
Telescoping Rod I landed a 4 lb 13 oz Large Mouth buried in the grass with this telescoping rod. It collapses to small enough to carry in the tackle box (or even back pocket!). Biggest bass this year for me. June 7, 2011
Great inexpensive rod I bought one of these in the light action and paired it up w/ a Zebco ultra-light spincast reel. Used it mainly for my boys when they were younger and as a loaner for there buds that don't have an ultra-light. Good back up rod and fair sensitivity too. February 27, 2008
Not a 2-piece as advertised This was the first of two rods I bought from Bass Pro in a 2 week period. I bought the 5'6" because I wanted a 2-piece rod. The rod is nice but I was very disappointed that it was not a 2-piece as stated at the time of purchase. Now the website doesn't state if it's 1 or 2 piece. It's 1-piece if wondering. Call and ask Bass Pro before ordering rods if that matters to you. Otherwise it's a nice rod. June 6, 2014
