Rated 4 out of 5Â by teddy123 great value
I read reveiws before i bought these and was worried about the quality of the product, but they were on sale for cheap enough that i thought i would try them anyway. I have used them for over two months now and I think they work really well. I havent had them break or pull apart as described in other reveiws. overall they work very well and keep my rods in the boat at 60mph.

I have two of these on my boat and they are perfect for those of us who leave our rods out on the deck when traveling from spot to spot on the water.
You can quickly pull the strap across and secure you pricey rods and not worry about them bouncing out when you hit a big wake at top speed.

I prefer this rod strap over any other brand/style I've ever used. I purchased 2 of them, and broke 1 of those during installation -- broke the end that screws to the deck. Over all, though, when I need to replace my rod holders, I'll buy a couple more of these...I don't know how you can beat them - for the money.

No glue required, just twist off the collar and insert a cleanly cut end back into the part. Push it completely and twist if needed until the poly cord flushes against the back of the clasp, then twist the collar back down on to it.If the poly has become brittle due to sun and age, buy a new one.
