Bass Pro Shops Outboard Motor Lock
beware...i had a motor stolen with this lock on. they were nice enough to leave the lock behind so I could see how they did it, and then I felt really stupid. All you have to do is pry open the end that doesn't have the lock and slide it off that way. it needs a lock on both sides to work.

I bought a second outboard motor so I need to buy another outboard motor lock. I've had this lock on my first outboard for 5 years and it still looks great. I'm happy with this lock so I'm here to buy a second. I can't testify this lock is impenetrable but I haven't lost my outboard motor so I'm a happy camper. I say lock-r-up and GIT-R-DONE!

WORST PURCHASE I HAVE HAD FROM B/P
this offers no security at all. it's made from very thin metal. lock is brass. poor fit very easy to slide over and that gives the theif plenty of room to cut it off which can easily be done with a hack saw you are better off with a cutproof cable and master lock.
