I bought one for my son's family in Alberta Canada while visiting. We loved it so much that now we are back in the states we are ordering one for ourselves. Fun, delicious and makes 4 quarts plenty to share.

The handle is long approx 24 inches. You can stand at a safe distance. We bought a fire mitt but did not need it because the handle stays cool.
