Not worth the money First negative review I've written...after a lot of positive BPS products, this one failed the test. These gloves, after much debate, were purchased for taking outdoor pictures in the cold because of the finger dexterity and tightness of fit (not bulky). After a week or so of use, they started to fall apart, finally ripping from the palm and the seams around the fingers. Had to throw them away and with it, $15. December 15, 2013
Nice gloves for the price. Form fitting, don't bunch up on you and they keep you from freezing to death on those cold wet days. The thumb and forefinger openings make it easy to cast and retrieve as well. December 14, 2013
Wasted Money These gloves were great the first use...literally fell apart the second day. Never again. October 17, 2013
Neoprene Gloves Excellent product. Keep hands warm and dry on cold, rainy days. Highly recommend. May 13, 2013

no they are neoprene made to keep your hands warm. a pike could bite right through them but if you hold the pike like you are supposed to you can leave the gloves on and not get hurt.

Yes, these are perfect for handling catfish while protecting one's hands against the spiny fins...it isn't whiskers that can stab your hands but the dorsal and pectoral fins.
