This is a great minnow head for the money. Very basic and very functional. And you get more in a bag for the price than any other brand I've found yet. And as long as you match it to your gear, it will land any fish you hook.
I fish it specifically with minnow-style soft jerkbaits. Some of the lesser reviews provided seem to be from people using it in baits it was not designed for. The recent addition of raised eyes on the head is a nice touch.
The one thing I really wish would change:
I would really really like to see various head weights offered on more than one hook size. For example, you can only get a #2 hook with a 1/16th ounce head. I'd like to be able to get that #2 hook in the 1/32nd- and 1/8th-ounce weights as well.

We have used this minnow head for year after year for tube bait, shad, grub and minnows. Great to have on hand for sunfish and crappie with any kids for grandparent. Can't go fishing without them the grandchildren not the lures. Ha - Ha !

I have bought many lead heads over the years but these are about as bad as I have ever purchased the hook is way to long to use with one and a half inch tube jig

I've used this jig head on all my squirmin' squirt jigs for over 15 years and nothing swims quite like it! Simply out preforms round head jigs by a mile the sleek minnow head design is a must for all serious panfisherman and the hooks are sharp enough right out of the box. Thanks bass pro for another perfect product!
