Great assortment of color combinations. I had enough in my assortment to split my order with a friend. We did however order different lead head squirt heads of hooks to cover all fishing conditions. My friend and I have both caught fish on these. He has caught crappies and I have caught bream. There is a great article on how to fish the mini squirt tubes and hooks In last months North Carolina Wildlife magazine.

I'm relatively new to Crappie fishing so I wasn't really sure what worked and what didn't. I bought this set for a weekend fishing trip and WOW do these things catch fish!! Not only have I caught a lot of crappie on these, I've also caught a cat fish, bass, and bluegill. You can't go wrong with this set!! You will thoroughly enjoy!!

If you have kids, get this kit! Cast them, troll them, anchor and use a bobber--it doesn't matter. If there are crappie nearby, you will get bit. I bought this kit 23 years ago (still have a few of those left!!!). I have caught thousands of crappies with this product. Here are some suggestions for fishing them:
1) Use the round 1/16 oz. jig head (the tube style head will tear them up) and 1 tube will catch many fish.
2) If float fishing, use a slim bobber with a spring as opposed to a slip bobber. You will get much better action this way and exceedingly more bites.
3) Troll them around small lakes on hot summer days and look out! No minnow required.
