Super Lite I bought the nicro lite trigger rod with fishing sliders and floating Rapalas in mind. I matched it with the extreeme light casting reel and 8lb. fireline. I was so impressed that I ordered the micro lite casting rod, extreeme light reel and more fireline. I like the control casting rods offer and this set-up is perfect for fishing light baits. Good rod for crappie I have 2 of the med/light rods and love them when fishing anchored down for crappie . Really only use them with minnows but I'm confident they would work with jigs too . They are very sensitive for this type of fishing compared to cheaper rods . 4 stars for the price is too high for a 5 star rating . Good luck . February 23, 2011
Spincast rod This rod is an excellent companion to my Daiwa spincast reel. It is light enough to cast for hours without tiring. It handles 4 to 6 pound line very well to permit catching more panfish October 21, 2013
Exactly What Was Needed This rod was exactly what I wanted for my wife. She wanted to try a Zebco for panfish. I wanted a rod that would handle small fish, but not be so stiff that that it would overpower them. August 14, 2013

Bass Pro extreme lite casting reel with 6 lb. fireline and an 8lb. fluorocarbon leader. This set-up works great for sliders and Rapalas. So far no problems.
