Order this rod , a little supprised @ the slowness of the rod blank Will make a good trolling rod for walleyes has a lot of give when the fish picks up the bait also a good perch pole.

I have 2 of the med/light rods and love them when fishing anchored down for crappie . Really only use them with minnows but I'm confident they would work with jigs too . They are very sensitive for this type of fishing compared to cheaper rods . 4 stars for the price is too high for a 5 star rating . Good luck .

i am in the junior bassmasters and i have this rod on every single reel i have it is a great reel it is hard to break even with a 10 lb bass.
