Rated 5 out of 5Â by BrianHH Excellent rod
This four piece travel rod is well made as is the carrying case. Coupled with a small bait cast reel this is a great travel rod and easily goes through airport security. Excellent value for the money.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by moco action not as described
action is mod fast at best, probably more moderate.i really wanted a fast rod,so there description is misleading.rod is beautiful, love the gold guides and finish, the handle is big for my smaller hands.carry case is a joke, its a clear flimsy plastic throw away container to ship it in,it wont protect ur rod.its here so ill keep the rod and use it for a back up travel rod,i am disapointed though.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by edinafisherman nice rod
I got this rod a year ago and brought it on spring break. I caught at least 100 fish on it in salt water and fresh. I brought back home and i caught a 36" northern pike. After that i found out there was a crack and at least it didn't affect the fishing. Overall good rod.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by oren decent rod, misleading specs
This is the only decent travel baitcaster bass pro offers that wont break the bank. This rod is far from sturdy and i would never try and use the 17 pound line that this rod can supposedly handle. This rod also claims to have a fast action, but the action is slow at best. I really have not run into any problems with the rod and it seems like it will hold up, i just wish that the specs had been a little more accurate, had they been I would have given this product 5 stars.

Cyrano, I measure the rod with a tape measure while it was still in the canvas wrapping, but I pushed the canvas down to the rod ends and it measured 20 inches. Hope that helps...1 of 1
