Graphite = fast-ish; Glass = slow-ish.
is a solid fiber glass rod, is very flexible ( no esy to set the hook on a big fish )
I've never had any luck with braided line on an ultra light reel.
This rod would be good for small bass, but you might heve trouble landing a big 5-10 pounder
I have not had any problems.
Yes, I trout fish once or twice a year and I think this would be a good rod for trout.
You might have trouble with really light weight flies, but weighted lures should be able to be cast easily.
Is actually made for this rod. At least that's what the guy at BPS told me.
I also have the 5' rod and love it.
I use it mostly for Crappie, but think it would work well for trout and small Bass.
It might be a little light weight for bigger Bass and large Catfish.
